Recently, the second inspection bureau of the Ningbo Taxation Bureau investigated and dealt with a tax evasion case at the Haoyi gas station in Cixi City based on clues obtained from big data analysis of tax revenue.

It was found that the gas station had evaded taxes by falsely reporting sales income through means such as concealing sales income by hanging third-party platform payment discounts as "other payables", resulting in a shortfall of 1.2856 million yuan in value-added taxes and other taxes. The tax inspection department will recover the 1.2856 million yuan in taxes and corresponding late fees from the gas station in accordance with relevant regulations such as the Administrative Penalty Law of the People's Republic of China and the Tax Collection and Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, and impose a fine of one time the amount of the tax evaded.

The person in charge of the second inspection bureau of the Ningbo Taxation Bureau stated that in the next step, they will resolutely investigate and deal with various tax evasion behaviors in accordance with the law, firmly uphold the authority of national tax laws, promote social fairness and justice, continuously create a good tax and business environment, and promote the long-term standardized and healthy development of related enterprises and industries.
