To facilitate the work and life of foreign businesspeople in China, the Ministry of Commerce ("MOC") , in conjunction with relevant departments, has compiled the "A Guide to Working and Living in China as Business Expatriates（2024 Edition）". This guide is divided into four sections: Precautions, Daily Life Services, Services for Staying and Residing in China, and Services Related to Working in China. It covers matters such as accommodation registration, SIM card application, bank card application, residence permit, work permit, social insurance, setting up mobile payments, using transportation, and paying personal income tax, providing a reference for foreign businesspeople working and living in China. In the future, MOC will update the Guide annually based on adjustments to relevant policies and procedures.
